Introducing the new Sony NEX-F3 CSC

The Sony NEX line has been one of Australia’s most rapidly adopted cameras and for all of the right reasons. This little camera as most would know is very deceiving, at first look without any knowledge of the technologies of the Compact System Camera series you would assume it is just another compact camera but with a few little extras but when you dive into the functionalites of the NEX-F3 you can see that it’s beyond any compact and steps up to almost the same capabilities of a DSLR.

The NEX-F3 is the perfect camera for those who want great quality images and video however don’t want to spend the same dollars involved in purchasing a DSLR and also don’t want to carry around a bulky camera. Budding photographers will really appreciate the feature set of this camera and also the integration of interchangeable lenses with a slew of lenses to suit all occasions. The NEX-F3 has the addition of a built-in flash to broaden the perfection rate of every press of the shutter button and the 16.1 Megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor captures more light for low noise stills and crisp detailed images for the photographer that takes pride in their work and wishes to instill their memories on large format and canvas prints.

Sony’s famous 3D Sweep Panorama has been added into the F3 and also intuitive thinking by the Sony team brought about the addition of a 3″ 180° Flip-up LCD Screen which will come in very handy for the travel photographer wanting to take a shot of themselves in amongst the sceneries around them.

All in all we give this camera a 9 out of 10 and can’t wait for it to land in store so we can have a further hands on look. We’re expecting it to retail for around the $700 mark which is extreme bang for your buck!
