Photo Friday Pets Winner – Tam!
What camera did you use? Canon 1000D and this shot was taken with a Tamron 10-24mm. Wide angle lens.
What settings did you use? To be honest, i can’t remember and all data has been lost since my lap top crashed 3 months ago… Luckily I had my images backed up online.
What inspired this shot? My beautiful boys always come with me for my sunrise shots (3 human and one canine). Rosco (said canine son) is a constant inspiration to me both in art and life. Having suffered a stoke 2 years ago at the age of 18 months, the Vet wanted to put him to sleep as his quality of life would be “practically nil and he would more than likely never walk again”. After a long and arduous rehabilitation, Roscos love for life and everything in it abound. When he perched himself on the rock, with the sun rising over the ocean behind him, the true “Super Rosco” was revealed and I was just happy I was there to see it, and ever happier that I managed to capture it with my camera forever.
Did you edit this image, if so what did you do and with what program? This image was edited using Photoshop Elements 8 and Nik Software plug ins. Some tonal contrast was added with a quick crop and straighten.
Do you have any advice for our community of photographers? Beauty is everywhere…
Where was this photo taken? This was taken at Catherine Hill Bay, NSW, Australia.
