What inspired this shot? This photo was shot on a new year day 2012. My sisters and me went to local market close to home. This market is called “100-Year Klongsuan Market”. There are many shops that sell old Thai toys and Thai traditional desserts. I was walking on the small wood bridge while a fisherman was catching fishes under the bridge. I wanted to capture the people lifestyle in the market and was very excited to be able to capture this photo.
Did you edit this image, if so what did you do and with what program? I edited this image using Adobe Lightrooom. I decreased exposure, added more clarity/contrast and turned it to sepia color.
Do you have any advice for our community of photographers? I have started doing photography for around 1 year and 4 months. I am beginner myself. My full-time job is not related to photography at all but I have been spending time on weekend and after work taking photos and editing photos. If I can make it to winner, anyone can do it. It is also helpful to follow blog of photographers you like, this way really helps me learning and opening my world.
Where was this photo taken? 100-Year Klongsuan Market, Chachoengsao, Thailand
