Foto Riesel was established in 1947 by Fabian Riesel, and is now
owned and operated by Mark and Elizabeth Alderson.
Over the years, the showroom has moved around the Sydney CBD, and
is currently located on Kent St, near Market St, Sydney. Our Camera
House retail store is complemented by our new Create Centre,
offering Giclee Fine Art Printing for photographers, artists,
galleries and students.
Foto Riesel specialises in high quality camera equipment for all
photographers, from beginners through to professionals, plus
hard-to-find products, second-hand equipment and honest advice from
We hold professional dealer accounts with Canon and Nikon plus
Sony professional video. We also host photography workshops, free
events and product launches. Our staff are practicing photographers
with real-life photographic experience and expertise, who offer a
unique, down-to-earth retail experience.
We are a destination store for rare, unique and hard-to-find
products, including film, B&W paper, darkroom supplies, studio
lighting, photography books and second-hand gear. We also import a
range of specialist products, from brands including: Multiblitz,
Printfile, Quantum, Genus, Kaiser, Fotospeed, onOne Software,
Domke, Billingham and Gepe."

Australian Federal Government Endorsed Supplier, and a Preferred
