Ken Peters started Ken Peters Photographics in Redcliffe. Previously a pharmacist, Ken's passion and interest in photography brought him to realize that he would leave the pills to his wife Narelle (also a pharmacist), so he could pursue photography.

Over the next 30 years, the company expanded and grew, at one time having 5 stores around Brisbane before returning to just the Redcliffe store. Ken retired in 1998, with his son Brett and daughter in law Andrea taking over after many years working beside Ken and Narelle.

On September 7th, 2009, Brett and the team opened a new store at Westfield North Lakes, replacing Redcliffe.  All the team have a feel for all facets of photography continue the tradition of great personal service. North Lakes has the biggest range of cameras in its area and the latest in digital equipment.  They can process and print from all digital media on the latest 100 year archival paper, as well as all regular services such as 35mm, copy prints, enlargements, prints from slides and more.
