It is powered by a linear motor and is protected with a weather sealing.

Along with a fast F2.8 aperture, this Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 RLM WR Lens is also programmed with a high-speed linear motor which allows you to quickly capture the moment as it happens.
