The four aspherical elements, including one Advanced Aspherical, are incorporated in the lens layout to reduce astigmatism, coma, field curvature, and other monochromatic aberrations. One extra-low dispersion glass element is offered in the lens design to help reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing for improved clarity and colour neutrality. Minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds using Optical SteadyShot image stabilization.
