Nikon D4

It’s been a couple of years since Nikon released its D3s (a groundbreaking DSLR) and the anticipation has been building over recent months for a successor. Finally the heir-apparent to the popular pro camera has been announced, the D4. The D4 delivers a 16.2 megapixel resolution, an extended ISO (204,800 at Hi-4), and a spanking new full-frame FX-format sensor. Movie-makers will be pleased with the inclusion of 1080p movie capture and the 91,000 pixel RGB 3D Colour Matrix Meter III, which really amps up your ability to evaluate colour and brightness compared to its predecessor.

You can add to this a new 51-point AF system that delivers full cross type focus and a superfast start up (you can be ready to shoot in 0.012 secs). The D4 also sports a burst mode capable of shooting a whopping 10 frames per second at full resolution. Dual card slots ensure running out of memory is a thing of the past.
