Photo Friday – BLUE – Bob Jin
‘Photo Friday’ is a weekly photography competition that Camera House Australia runs. Every week we choose a new theme and prize, and this week the winner was Bob Jin who entered this impressive image for the theme: BLUE.
We asked Bob about his image, and this is what he had to say:
I was using a Nikon D7000 at the time, and it took me over an hour and 1000 shots to get the one I wanted. I had just gotten a macro lens and was playing around with it. My settings were f8.0, ISO 320 at 1/250 of a second. I used Adobe Lightroom to bring up the sharpness and vibrance of the water drop to make it really pop. I think the one thing I’ve learnt from this is persistence and never giving up on getting the shot is the most important.
