Photo Friday Open Entry Winner – Denny!
What camera did you use? Fujifilm XE-1, Fujinon 18-55mm & a 10 Stop ND Filter.
What settings did you use? f.16, 30″, ISO 100
What inspired this shot? I’ve been trying to create a collection of landscapes in the hope to one day put it into print. The collection of work I’m creating tends to have strong lines and silky smooth water created by a long exposure.
Did you edit this image, if so what did you do and with what program? Lightroom is both my image editor of choice and also how I catalogue my images. Since the image was shot in RAW some minor colour saturation, White balance adjustment and a minor re-alignment was conducted.
Do you have any advice for our community of photographers? The one advice that I use to further my photography is that of Henri Cartier-Bresson. “Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” in other words. Practice. Practice. Practice!
Where was this photo taken? Princes Pier is a 580 metre long historic pier on Port Phillip, in Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
