Shutter 1/5 sec, f/6.3, ISO 100, handheld
What inspired this shot?
I’m a member of 365project.org and we had a theme called ‘slowdown’. I thought I’d experiment with a slow shutter and street photography on my way home from work one afternoon. I’ve been drawn to shooting within this arcade for some time but thought I’d try a different perspective to the shots I’d seen from within this arcade in the past. This image ended up in the top 5 for the theme which I was very happy with.
Did you edit this image, if so what did you do and with what program?
I converted this image to Black and White in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 and corrected lens distortion using Photoshop CS6.
Do you have any advice for our community of photographers?
Try new things, experiment and keep shooting. You never know what you’ll capture if you don’t press that shutter.
Where was this photo taken?
