HARMAN Phoenix returns, boasting a fresh formulation. It retains its distinctive character, yet now features enhanced contrast, grain, highlight and shadow retention, and sharpness. The HARMAN Phoenix II, our second-generation colour film, presents a stark departure from its predecessor. Every layer and component has undergone a comprehensive redesign and reengineering, resulting in an entirely new formulation. The introduction of new dyes, couplers, and even an experimental layer construct marks a significant shift. While less audacious and unpredictable than the original, Phoenix II continues to provide ample character for an authentic analogue aesthetic.

The improvements to contrast, grain, and sharpness, help to retain shadow and highlight detail and enable more flexibility in exposure latitude (although Phoenix II still benefits from accurate exposure). Scanning is also improved at default settings, and the final look will vary based on the scanner used. Phoenix II is your chance to try something completely new, experiment and get creative.
