The Harman Red 125, a film specifically engineered for redscale photography, delivers a vibrant palette of red, orange, and yellow hues. It effectively eradicates most blue tones, whilst enhancing the depth of shadows. This 35mm film boasts a medium ISO speed of 125, a transparent base, and lacks an anti-halation layer. Its high red sensitivity ensures minimal speed loss, leading to consistent results. The final image is significantly influenced by exposure adjustments: underexposure results in a coarser grain, subtle greens, and pronounced shadows; a normal exposure produces a balanced grain with stronger orange tones and softer shadows; whilst overexposure generates a finer grain, higher contrast, and a dominance of red/orange colours.

Processed in standard C41/CN16 chemicals, Harman Red requires no adjustments for bracketed exposures. Unlike conventional films, its emulsion is reverse-rolled, so optimal scanning may require reloadable cartridges to adjust orientation.
