Wide aperture

With a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, the lens is ideal for working in low light and for capturing beautiful bokeh in your images – helped by an 11-blade circular diaphragm. The optical design is enhanced by two extra low-dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, as well as two XA elements and three aspherical elements.

Durable design

The lens is dust and moisture sealed to deal with difficult conditions, with the front element also coated in fluorine to guard against fingerprints and dust.
