Spend an evening exploring inner Melbourne’s vibrant street art filled alleyways with this walking photographic tour.
Your tutor and guide for the evening is the highly experienced international Travel Photographer, Rod Black. You will also be joined by an experienced model who you will be able to photograph using the alleyways as your backdrop.
Join this small group as we explore the unique alleyways of colourful street art that put Melbourne on the map. Learn how to best use your camera, from lens choices, camera settings to developing techniques. Learn how to instruct, pose and light a model in a street environment. Rod will take you to some amazing locations and assist you in getting some truly spectacular images.
At the conclusion of the tour you will have a folio of work that consists of portraiture, cityscape, lighting, camera angles and other interesting techniques.

What to bring: your camera and lenses, fully charged batteries, memory card, cable release/timer (optional) and tripod (if you have one).

We are taking all the necessary safety precautions to keep both our tutors and participants are safe.
Our workshops will respect social distancing of 1.5 metres and be limited to small groups.
We kindly ask that if you are not feeling well that you contact Croydon Camera House and we will reschedule you into a workshop for when you are feeling better.
Participants are to make their own way to and from the workshop location.
