Christmas Delivery Expectations

If you have any concerns with delivery times for Christmas - please visit one of our 66 stores in person so you can guarantee availability - find your local store here.

Please check your product 'Ships Immediately' to ensure that we can despatch your order from our warehouse - if the product states 'Ships Within X days' this is the time required to get the product to our warehouse and then despatch.

Camera House will endeavour to despatch all orders as soon as received but cannot guarantee that deliveries will be received prior to Christmas Day. We are reliant on our partner networks and their workloads.

Aust Post state that deliveries in this period can take up to 5 business days -

Where do we deliver to?
We only deliver within Australia using Australia Post's eParcel service. 

Can you pick up your order?
Orders are not generally available for pick up, unless you nominated to pick up your order from your local store.

How long will it take for your order to arrive?
All hardware deliveries (that are labelled Ships Immediately) are despatched from our Distribution Centre in Sydney, NSW and will take the following time depending on where you are in Australia:

  • NSW - 1-2 business days (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • Victoria - 2-3 business days (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • Queensland - 2-4 business days (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • South Australia - 3-4 business days (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • Western Australia - 4-6+ business days (it may take over 6 days for some deliveries in the Kimberley region). (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • Tasmania - 4 business days (that are labelled Ships Immediately)
  • Northern Territory - 4-6+ days (it may take over 6 days for some deliveries to remote regions). (that are labelled Ships Immediately)

Please note: all times quoted as for the next business day and are based upon us receiving your order before midday Monday to Friday e.g. if your order is received before midday and you live in Sydney Metro, you should receive it the next business day, if you order after midday, it should arrive the business day after.

Print order delivery times will vary - please speak direct with your local Camera House store.

How much does it cost for your order to be delivered?
We charge a flat rate of $9.95 for delivery, regardless of what you order, or where you live in Australia.

How can I track my order?
You can track your order through the Australia Post web site. Your order will be distributed by Australia Post and as part of your order communication from Camera House, you will be sent an email with your dispatch confirmation, which will include a tracking number for your package.

What if I'm not home when my order is delivered?
We suggest you give an address where you will most likely be during the day to receive delivery, as you will be asked to sign for the receipt of your parcel.  We can deliver to all business and residential addresses in Australia.

Anyone at the delivery address at the time of the delivery will be presumed to be authorised to receive the goods on your behalf.  If there is no one at the delivery address, a notification card will be left for collection at your local post office.

Changing your delivery details
Delivery address details of your order can be changed up to the point of dispatch.  Please email us at support@camerahouse.com.au immediately to advise us of any change of delivery address.  We regret that delivery details cannot be changed after your order has been dispatched from our Distribution Centre.
