Description

Welcome to a new generation of LUMIX GH video performance. Designed exclusively for the LUMIX GH5S, the new Digital Live MOS sensor offers 10.28 effective megapixels and a significantly higher photoreceptive surface per pixel, delivering an ultra-wide dynamic range. Dual Native ISO, a technology found in broadcast video cameras, enables the use of 400 & 2,500 ISO as base points to raise the highest normal ISO setting of 51,200, and an extension to 204,800 ISO. This technology provides ultra-sensitive video capture with impressively low noise. Exceptional low-light performance is a key capacity for professional videography, and you’ll enjoy this and much more with the new LUMIX GH5s! Offering exceptional low light performance, in a first for LUMIX, the GH5S incorporates Dual Native ISO technology delivering a maximum ISO of 51200. Essentially the GH5S has dual circuitry from the sensor, one designed for normal shooting and the other circuit optimised for high ISO shooting. The GH5S’s 10bit 422 video recording in 4K resolution offers cinematic quality, subtle gradations and provides a lot more editing flexibility for the serious film maker. Videographers will love that the GH5S also offers slow motion at 240 frames per second in Full HD and offers 4K quality at 60 frames per second. This higher frame rate is perfect for capturing very natural motion for applications such as documentary film making and news reporting. The GH5S offers unlimited recording time, heat dissipation, weather sealing and Time Code connection for interfacing with broadcast camera equipment. The LUMIX GH5s is capable of internal SD card capture of 4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K video recording without the banding so prone to 8-bit. Plus simultaneously feed 4:2:2 10-bit real-time image output through its full-size HDMI port (Type A) to an external monitor or recorder*. It is suitable for professional video making that requires accurate monitoring of the imagery or high quality recording to external codec devices (such as ProRes). 400Mbps (ALL-Intra) high bitrate recording mode is also available. A super high-resolution 3,680k-dot OLED LVF (Live View Finder) provides improved visibility, even under direct sunlight. Plus a high 0.76x magnification (35mm camera equivalent) clarifies image detail, and a smooth display at 120-fps with minimal time lag.
