Adobe Lightroom Classic Beginner Course - March 2025

Our detailed and immersive Adobe Lightroom Classic course is designed specifically for beginners and will take place in our Croydon Camera House Studio.

Time:  9:30am to 2:30pm

What You Will Learn

• Understanding colour gamut and screen calibration
• Differences between raw vs. JPEG files
• Importing and exporting files successfully
• Setting up and personalising Lightroom
• Organising images using flagging, tagging, and colour coding
• Navigating the “Develop” module and enhancing images with additional tools
• Fixing colour and white balance
• Cropping and straightening images
• Advanced lens correction and transformation
• Applying presets
• Batch editing
• Backing up your catalogue and maintaining file systems 

What to bring

• Bring your own laptop with the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic (not mobile or Cloud version) installed, along with the charging cord.
• Ensure you have a USB adapter if your laptop does not have a USB port.
• Have your own raw files accessible on your laptop for editing during the course.
• A notepad and pen.

PLEASE NOTE: The studio is upstairs of Croydon Camera House and is not wheelchair or pram accessible.

You will also have the opportunity to print images at Croydon Camera House for review.

Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided on the day.

*Customers who have booked a class with us before or bought a camera at our Croydon or Ringwood locations can book in-store for a discounted rate of $150.
