Gitzo Systematic Series 5 - Carbon Fibre Tripod 4 Section (Long) offers remarkable versatility and reliability. It is a powerful, 4-section, professional carbon fiber tripod designed support long lenses and heavy cameras. The Series 5 models are Gitzo’s most rigid tripod and like the rest of the Systematic family, they set the standard in terms of strength, stability and modularity. The GT5543LS’ top casting element opens and closes, enabling each tripod to be configured with a flat disk, geared or sliding centre column, video half-ball adaptor, levelling base or other Systematic accessories. The Revolutionary Carbon eXact tubes are even stiffer to maximise rigidity and image stability. The Carbon eXact optimizes the fibre composition for each tube size, using HM (High Modulus) carbon fibre in the narrower tubes to make them stiffer. The tube diameters are optimized, the final leg section of a 4 section Series 1 tripod is now 22.5% thicker than its predecessor.
