Samyang 12mm F2.0 UMC II Fujifilm X Silver APS-C offers a great optical design. Featuring the independent NCS (Nano Coating System) technology, It creates an even lower reflection rate than the original UMC (Ultra Multi Coating) and higher contrast. Also, the light penetration rate is very high to minimise flare and ghost. The optical construction of Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS features 12 lenses in 10 groups – among lenses, there is 1 glass aspherical lens (AS), and 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP) and 1 low-dispersion lens (ED) to provide high image quality. H-ASP minimises colour aberration to realise exceptional image quality and high contrast for the centre and corner of the image even when the aperture is fully opened. ED lowers unnecessary light dispersion to drop colour aberration effectively. With such optical construction, it has 0.2m of minimum focal length. This lens is an extra-wide-angle manual focus lens designed for APS-C crop sensor mirrorless cameras. With low distortion and wide-angle, photographers who want wide-angle photos such as landscape and architectural images can create awesome images. F2.0 is very bright so it captures clear and vivid images even in relatively dark environments. The frame of Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS is compact and solid since it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy. This lens also features 6 aperture blades.
