A 70-200mm lens is a work horse for most professional photographers, excellent for covering weddings and social events. As you would expect from Sony, the image quality is sharp thanks to its impressive construction. The optical image stabilisation helps too. In a perfect world this would have a f/2.8 aperture, but then you’re really looking at Sony’s G Master series lens, which is worth around double the price. This lens will struggle with low-light action photography, but will be good in all other circumstances. At least the smaller aperture keeps the weight down.
