Thanks to a massive upgrade in sensor readout speed, the A7R VI provides 30 frames per second at full resolution RAW with blackout-free shooting. AF/AE tracking operates at 60 cycles per second for significantly improved hit rates and tenacious focus on moving subjects.

Flagship Image Stabilisation System
The upgraded 5-axis in-body image stabilisation delivers up to 8.5 steps of compensation. An advanced algorithm paired with a high-precision gyro sensor ensures single-pixel-level control for sharp, clear images even with long lenses in low light.

Stills and Video
The A7R VI excels as a stills camera while offering powerful video tools. It supports full-frame 4K 60p and 8K 30p with no sensor crop, plus 120p in Super35 mode. It is also compatible with the XLR-A4 adapter for professional 32-bit float audio recording.

The 66.8 MP Exmor RS sensor captures up to 16 stops of dynamic range with the mechanical shutter and supports advanced multi-frame RAW processing for superior noise reduction, detail, and extended dynamic range.

The Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5 GM OSS is a professional constant-aperture super-telephoto zoom designed for wildlife, sports, and action photographers who demand outstanding reach, speed, and reliability. Featuring an internal zoom mechanism for superior balance and durability, it maintains exceptional optical performance across the entire zoom range.

Four XD Linear motors deliver three times faster focus speed and 50 percent better tracking performance compared to the previous model, even during zooming or high-speed bursts. A short quarter-turn zoom throw allows rapid transitions from 100mm to 400mm, while full compatibility with Sony 1.4x and 2x teleconverters provides extended reach when needed.
