Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro Lens - L-Mount features an apochromatic optical design and 2x macro magnification. Telephoto prime is designed for APS-C-format Leica mirrorless cameras and provides a 104mm equivalent focal length. The 65mm focal length is equivalent to around 100mm equivalent (97.5mm on 1.5x crop sensor camera), which is a useful focal length for general macro and close up photography, maintaining good camera to subject working distance. Optical construction is 14 Elements in 10 groups, with 3 Extra-Low dispersion glass elements. The minimum focus distance is 17cm (sensor to subject) to give twice life size magnification. Dimensions are 57mm diameter x 100mm length, with a convenient, standard filter size of 52mm. Greater-than-life-size 2:1 maximum magnification pairs with a 17cm minimum focusing distance to suit working with close-up subjects. A nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. The manual focus design, along with focus distance and depth of field scales, aids in precise focusing control. Internal focusing maintains the overall length of the lens during use for easier use, especially when working with nearby subjects.
