This lens features a circular aperture diaphragm consisting of seven blades, as well as an aperture range of f/22 at minimum and f/3.5 at maximum. This lens consists of 18 elements in 12 groups, providing users with clear, beautiful macro images. It is also capable of 1x image magnification, and it can achieve up to 4x magnification or 8x on 35mm sensor using separately sold MC-20 teleconverter. Moreover, this lens is designed with 5-axis Sync IS, enabling users to shoot macro images steadily. It has also resistance to dust and splash (IP53) and has fluorine coating that effectively repels elements. This lens measures 136mm (H) x 69.8mm (W) x 69.8mm (D) and weighs about 453 grams.
