The optical design incorporates three aspherical elements and one ultra-high refractive index element to minimise distortions and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range. More of its optical features, the One extra-low dispersion element reduces chromatic aberrations and colour fringing in order to achieve a high degree of clarity and colour accuracy. This lens also features a rounded nine-blade diaphragm that contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.
