This camera features a back-illuminated APS-C Exmor R™ CMOS sensor and approximately 20.1MP effective pixels for movie and 26.0MP for stills, providing users with outstanding footages through maximised lighting. This sensor, along with the impressive ISO sensitivity of 100 to 32000, enables users to capture clearer even in low light. This camera is also designed with S-Log3 gamma curve, offering users with magnificent and high-quality colour reproduction that is ideal for cinematic touch. Moreover, it features intelligent tracking through focal-plane phase detection with its unique AI-based subject recognition with 495 focus points for movie through phase-detection AF and 759 points for still image through phase-detection AF. It is also designed with image sensor-shift mechanism with 5-axis compensation for stabilised footages. It also has 1.4x to 8x zoom function. This camera is equipped with a 7.5cm monitoring LCD that can be opened up to 176 degrees and rotated for about 270 degrees. This camera provides XAVC S, XAVC HS, and XAVC HS movie recording formats and JPEG, HEIF, and RAW for stills with up to 6K resolution.
